Elementary Academy

Our elementary program follows the classical trivium, recognizing that elementary-aged children are in the "Grammar Stage" - the time when they naturally love to memorize, chant, and absorb foundational knowledge. This time-tested classical methodology is combined with a Biblical worldview that integrates God's truth into every area of learning.

Language Arts

  • Grammar: Systematic study of English grammar, parts of speech, and sentence structure

  • Composition: Progressive writing skills from sentences to paragraphs to essays

  • Reading/Literature: Phonics instruction, fluency development, comprehension strategies, and classic literature study

  • Penmanship: Cursive handwriting instruction beginning in 2nd grade
